-The current events in Ukraine and their consequences on the overall increase in fuel prices have led the State to set up the "Ukraine aid" system, which aims in particular to support professional fishing on Saint-Martin.
This exceptional aid takes the form of a direct subsidy for professional fishermen. This is calculated on the basis of fuel purchases made by the applicant between March 17 and September 30, 2022.
This aid corresponds to a discount, for professional fishermen on the island, up to:
• 35 cents / liter of fuel (for the period from March 17 to 31);
• 20 cents / liter of fuel (for the period from April 01 to August 31);
• 10 cents / liter of fuel (for the period from 01 September to 30 September).

Once completed, these files must be submitted to the Territorial Unit of the Department of the Sea located at the Prefecture of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin located in Concordia, 23 rue de Spring (opposite the Collège Mont des Accords) until to November 18, 2022.
