In mid-September, several political figures witnessed the installation of a sign on Orient Bay beach by the “Our lands count” movement, whose objective is to defend the rights of families on the island. Recently, this organization invited associations and neighborhood councils to discuss this theme at the CCISM and the famous Beauperthuy affair. Their petition “Our land matters - We are St. Martin” has collected 1093 signatures to date. This Sunday, a fundraiser - with many musical events and speeches by Raymond Helligar and Daniella Jeffry - will be organized from 11 a.m. to 19 p.m. on the former site of the restaurant Boo Boo Jam, on the beach of the BO, to continue their actions.
