Two neighbors from Haiti, accused of reciprocal violence as well as the son of one of them, appeared before the correctional court of Saint-Martin.
The facts go back to January 2015. Mrs. C., 61, explains that she takes out her trash cans in the courtyard of the building when her young neighbor, 29 years old, arrives and hits her with a stick. Considering herself "disabled" and unable to raise her right arm since then, she then asked for 50 euros in damages. "We must not take the criminal hearing for La Française des Jeux," commented the prosecution, which has "strong doubts" about the events in the court that the neighbor denied.
On the other hand, it turned out that three days later Mrs. C. and her son went to the neighbor's house and the latter broke down his door. "It was to defend my mother. After the fight in the yard, she was really bad. She is my mother, I will do everything for her, ”said the son.
