The preview of the Pixel project will take place on Tuesday April 19 from 16:30 p.m. to 18:30 p.m. at the media library in Concordia. This concept - initiated by Céline Renger, educational consultant in visual arts for the North Islands constituency - mobilized 525 students who worked for more than three months. 21 classes from all the schools in the district (from small section to CM2) let their imagination and creativity run free, based on a well-known construction game. Regarding the artistic project, each student made a box, that is to say a pixel. “All the boxes were then assembled to create a single sculpture in volume,” explains Céline Renger. The students will exhibit their work from April 20 to 29 at the media library.
