Commemoration: Celebration of the 370th anniversary of the Treaty of Concordia with the students of the Mont des Accords college

21-03-17-treaty-of-ConcordiaThe Territorial Youth Council of Saint-Martin and the school community of the Collège Mont des Accords invite the population to the celebration of the 370th anniversary of the Treaty of Concordia. 

This year, for the 370th commemoration of the Treaty of Concordia, signed on the Mont des Accords on March 23, 1648, the Collectivity of Saint-Martin and its Territorial Youth Council (CTJ), in association with the school community of the Collège Mont des Accords de Marigot, offer a great morning of entertainment at the college.

Indeed, from 9 a.m. to 13 p.m., the public will be able to attend the activities carried out under the sign of unity and sharing to mark this symbolic day.

The public will be able to attend the projection of films, sessions of song, poems and dance, and discover the exhibitions carried out by the young organizers. It will also be possible to participate in games and entertainment organized for the occasion.

Finally, a culinary fair will be offered to visitors to lead them to the discovery or rediscovery of traditional Saint-Martin dishes.

All of these activities are exclusively carried out by the students of Collège Mont des Accords, accompanied by members of the CTJ, with the support of students from other colleges on the island.

The school community of the College Mont Des Accords and the Collectivity of Saint-Martin invite you to come in large numbers to support this event initiated by the youth of the territory which marks the 370th anniversary of the Treaty of Concordia and which will give visitors a great opportunity to immerse themselves in the history of Saint-Martin and to share a cultural and convivial moment with the college students.

The presentation being made, come in large numbers this Friday March 23, from 9 a.m. to 13 p.m., at the Collège Mont des Accords, route de Spring à Concordia. _AF
