President Aline Hanson received Ambassador Alphonso Munera, Secretary General of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS), last week at the Hôtel de la Collectivité. This visit is part of the process of joining the AEC. This request “responds to human, geographic, cultural and economic evidence. Territorial diplomacy is a new era (..,) I want to tell you my desire to engage our community in it ”, declared the president. Alphonso Munera discovered several aspects of the island including the territory's progress in terms of sustainable tourism. Among the topics discussed, the issue of governance of the Caribbean Sea and risks related to natural disasters.
