“By means of a press release, the Harmony Promotion group announces the creation of a hotel complex in Nettle bay. In the development below, the prefecture wishes to provide some additional information and clarifications.

Constantly, the position of State services is to promote the emergence of projects which constitute an opportunity for economic development for the territory.

At this stage, and with regard to the construction and investment project for a hotel complex, the State and its representatives do not have the possibility of giving assurances until the project has been submitted for instruction. with the Collectivity, responsible for town planning.

The State recalled during the various exchanges held with the project leader since September 2019, the need to integrate, from the design stage, risk management and in particular compatibility with the natural risk prevention plan.

Recommendations were made to reduce the vulnerability of buildings and the exposure of people. Significant changes have been observed over the various versions which augur well for the realization of a responsible project.

In this context and, with regard to the parts located in areas at risk of marine submersion and shock waves, we remind that constructability remains subordinated to the demonstration, by the production of technical studies in particular, of the taking into account of this hazard at the initial stage of the project and during its future operation.

Perfectly aware of the economic, tourist and employment challenges, guaranteeing the safety of people and goods, the State is working for the successful completion of this project in compliance with the codes and regulations in force. ”
