Due to the work currently underway, maritime traffic under the bridge will be interrupted until January 19, 2020. This first phase of work consists of renovating the electrical and hydraulic installations.
It started in September 2019 and will end later than initially planned, on Sunday January 19, 2020. Indeed, the manufacturing, delivery and installation times for the structures have been extended by one month. Sea traffic will be reopened on Monday 20 January. This phase of work does not impact road traffic on the bridge.
The second phase of works will take place between April 9 and 23, 2020. The bridge will be definitively operational at the end of this work. As a reminder, the Collectivity of Saint-Martin is investing € 1.6M in these works to completely rehabilitate the bridge.
