Main demand of the general indefinite strike which begins today, the hiring of the 75 agents whose fixed-term contracts were not renewed within the COM and the CTOS.
According to the union UTC-UGTG, the argument of the COM saying that the finances do not allow these hirings, is not satisfactory. Indeed, Marc Saint-Hilaire, in charge of communication for the delegation, ensures that in the appendix to the budgets of the COM and the CTOS appear two deliberations attesting that 82 and 86 posts are respectively vacant but budgeted. In other words, the said agents could obtain these posts.
The union wants to defend the rights of employees. "The president must respect the memorandum of understanding he had signed in July 2018" stipulating the transition from CDD to CDI, he insists.
