Social: More than 4 people looking for a job in Saint-Martin

At the end of March, 4 people were registered with Pôle Emploi in Saint-Martin, including 841 in category A.

This is 103 more people compared to September (2,17%). On the other hand, it is less 368 people compared to March 2017 (- 7%).

Compared to the last quarter of 2017, the number of women looking for a job in category A increased by 2%, going from 2 to 562 in the first quarter of this year. On the other hand, men are less numerous (-2%), i.e. 612 compared to 4,6 at the end of 1.

During the first quarter, Pôle Emploi recorded 482 admissions, 28 of which were due to layoffs (16 economic layoffs). The number of entries for this reason is two times lower compared to the end of 2017. Between October and December 2017, Pôle Emploi had recorded 64 layoffs, 33 of which were economic.
