Presented by the Les Fruits de Mer association, the 4th edition of the annual migratory birds festival will take place on Sunday from 9 am to noon, at the University of Saint-Martin, located in Philipsburg. As part of the International Migratory Bird Day (IMBD), this event will offer visitors a host of activities: presentation of the different birds; species observation on the Great Salt Pond; discovery of aquatic invertebrates; coaching on bird photography; presentation of the documentary project on the Great Salt Pond, etc. Bird watching is increasingly popular across the world. Ornithological tourism is a sector to be developed in our territory. As a reminder, the association has published the electronic book Pond Life, which can be downloaded from its site. _EH
