Environment: The Galion development project

0

According to its desire to restore and manage the 416 hectares protected in Saint-Martin, the Conservatoire du littoral launches the first phase of development work on the Baie de l'Embouchure site, precisely in Galion.

"The main challenge of the project is to manage to reconcile the different uses within a concerted development and management project," explains the Conservatoire, whose ambition is "to develop the site so that its attendance 'now and therefore consistent and regular, is compatible with a gentle and measured discovery of the site and the protection of the natural environment'.

Many facilities will be installed, including picnic carbets with garbage cans, signage and information panels, low ganivelles (wooden palisades), dry toilets, games for children and accessories for the practice of beach volleyball.

The call for tenders is in progress.
