Schools in Grand-Case padlocked yesterday morning due to lack of water filter

0

The Elie Gibs and Ghislaine Rogers schools in Grand-Case were padlocked yesterday morning, probably by a parent of a student dissatisfied with not having been heard from the Collectivity on the replacement of the water filter. Fortunately, everything was back to normal a little later yesterday today.

The Collectivity wishes to reassure parents of pupils that the water from the public network distributed to the schools' tap is perfectly drinkable. Filters have been added in each school so that children can have access to filtered water. The absence of a filter does not in any way affect the quality of drinking water. However, to reassure the school community, the Collectivity proceeded yesterday, with the support of the CTOS, to the installation of two new filters, in each of the two schools. _AF
