Cruise passengers, a profitable clientele to treat

The CCISM and the Tourist Office offered tourism professionals training to better accommodate cruise passengers, which ended yesterday. CCISM President Jean Arnell thanked in his opening speech those who contributed to the organization of this session, including OT President Jeanne Rogers-Vanterpool. For Mr. Arnell, this training will surely contribute to "the improvement of services that will have a direct impact on passenger satisfaction and financial returns". According to the latest BREA (Business Research and Economic Advisors) study, on "the economic contribution of cruise tourism to destination economies", the average expenditure per passenger on the island is $ 189 (2014/2015) . _EH
