Called “Pink October”, this month is synonymous with awareness of breast cancer. Earlier this week, the Ministry of Health announced that it would carry out a “major renovation” of the organized breast cancer screening program “the details of which will be specified at the end of the year”. This declaration stems from the launch a year ago of a “citizen and scientific consultation” on this subject with the aim of “modernizing the organized breast cancer screening program by developing a more personalized course, based on better information of women, better coordinated and more involving the attending physician ”.
