The President Daniel Gibbs received, on Wednesday, February 7, the senator from Saint-Martin, Mr. Guillaume Arnell, in order to discuss the issues related to the reconstruction of the territory and the national issues that arise from it.
The President and the Senator thus reviewed the current files concerning the reconstruction, with the mutual objective of working in synergy.
A little later in the evening, the President met with the Deputy of Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy, Claire Guion-Firmin, with whom he was able to work on certain files related to reconstruction.
On the strength of this transversal approach with the Parliamentarians, the President of the Collectivity wishes to rely on national authorities to bring the voice of Saint-Martin and support the work carried out by the Collectivity at the national level.
