Update on the rehabilitation works of the treatment plants at Friar's Bay and Oyster Pond

0

The Water and Sanitation Establishment of Saint-Martin (EESAM) draws the attention of the public that a second rehabilitation operation is currently underway at the Friar's Bay station.

All measures have been taken to limit the inconvenience for both users and the environment. Recent swell and displaced pebbles had blocked the discharge point, the situation has now returned to normal. The works will be completed at the end of February 2020.

Finally, to a lesser extent because the device is of recent construction, the Oyster Pond station is also the subject of a rehabilitation project.

The EEASM continues to invest in upgrading infrastructure and water quality for the benefit of users, as part of a sustainable development approach with full environmental awareness. _AF
