Sandy Ground on The Move Association: Training in the operation of construction equipment for three young people

0

Three young Saint-Martin residents have just completed their training to operate construction machinery, such as pallet trucks, mini-excavators or backhoe loaders. A training course which was made possible thanks to the Sandy Ground on The Move Insertion association, in partnership with the Fore IDN training center which welcomed the candidates.

Created in 2011 by Georges Richardson, the Sandy Ground on The Move Insertion association works in the field of integration through economic activity, and fights against all forms of social exclusion. Georges Richardson ensures that the association does its utmost to help the young people it takes under its wing. "Our job is to give these young people a second chance, and to make them aware of what values are in life," says Richardson.

Because for him, the future of Saint-Martin depends on young people, "so when they come to work with Sandy Ground on The Move Insertion, we do our best to ensure that they come out better trained than when they arrived". This is why the association gives the possibility of going to obtain permits like this one, “but we cannot do it alone. And we thank Fore IDN very much for working with us to help young people ”. Training so that when they leave, "they can go find a job with their diploma and prove that they can operate these machines (…) We help all the young people who come to us", specifies Georges Richardson. _RM
