The RSMA of Guadeloupe has had close ties with Saint-Martin for a long time, allowing Saint-Martin youth on the one hand to train and integrate into the local economic fabric, and on the other hand intervening for the benefit of Saint-Martin in the event of a natural disaster, as was the case in 2017.

In May 2022, the Local Mission in Saint-Martin is identified as the new interlocutor for the recruitment of young Saint-Martinois wishing to join the RSMA. Until May 2022, Thierry Stephen, Director and Head of the Programming and Prospects Department of the Employment, Apprenticeship and Vocational Training Department will ensure the transition.
