TRAINING: New RSMA recruitment campaign

The Adapted Military Service Regiment (RSMA) of Guadeloupe will be present at the Local Mission of Saint-Martin from Monday February 6 to Thursday February 9 to meet young people who want to know more about their training catalog.

Recalling that the RSMA, a military system for socio-professional integration, opens its doors to both young men and young women, no less than 30 vocational training courses are offered in eight areas: earth trades, mouth, public works building (BTP), trade & tourism, administration & digital, service, discovery and finally, driving, maintenance, automotive & logistics. Colonel Outtier of the RSMA and his entire team invite young Saint-Martin residents aged 18 to 25 to come and meet them this week from 8:30 a.m. to 15:30 p.m. at the premises of the Local Mission (rue de Hollande in Marigot) in order to help them. to move towards a training and integration sector that would meet their professional expectations. A 3D animation with a virtual reality helmet will allow them to visit the regiment. During training at the Adapted Military Service Regiment of Guadeloupe whose priority mission is to develop the employability of more than 700 young volunteers per year by making them acquire professional and social skills while offering them complete socio-educational support under the boarding system, each trainee receives €315 per month with an additional activity bonus of €220 from the third month, in addition to being housed, fed and having the possibility of obtaining a driving license for free . The plane ticket to follow the training in Guadeloupe is covered by the RSMA as well as a second round trip offered at the end of the year. An outing is organized each month, as are more occasional outings to make the young volunteers more independent. The new recruitment campaign to be held this week at the Local Mission concerns the following three trades: driver of public works machinery, mason / tiler and car maintenance agent. Construction training is particularly sought after in the territory of Saint-Martin. For the month of April, the RSMA will be recruiting volunteers for the landscaper, general-purpose environmental officer and security officer sectors. With an agreement renewed in 2021 which ensures the place of 100 young Saint-Martin residents per year within it, the RSMA also invites local companies to come and meet it to facilitate the hiring of young Saint-Martin residents. _VX
