The Fondation de France has committed € 9,32 million in donations to Saint-Martin

The Fondation de France is one of the organizations that collected most of the donations from the French people * the day after Irma passed through the Solidarité Antilles operation. 15 euros were collected, 166% of which came from the general public (€ 093 million), 82% from grants from local authorities (€ 12,45 million) and 17% from other financial and non-financial products (2,55 €).

In June 2019, 77,5% of donations were allocated to Saint-Martin, Saint-Barthélemy, Dominica, Cuba, Haiti in mainland France or the West Indies in general, i.e. € 11,75 million. This represents the funding of 68 projects carried out, including 51 in Saint-Martin.

Their treatment cost 1,085 million euros.

There is still 2,32 million euros intended to finance sustainable reconstruction in the West Indies.

  Use of donations outside Saint Martin

1 euros were donated elsewhere than in Saint-Martin: € 302 in Dominica, 800 in Saint-Barth, € 525 in Cuba, € 800 in Haiti. 427 euros financed projects carried out by the Secours populaire français and Hackers against natural disasters concerning several territories in the Caribbean. France Victimes benefited from 000 euros, of which 200 euros helped around 000 households (evacuees) in mainland France.

  Use of donations in Saint Martin

At the end of August of this year, 9 million euros were donated to 323 associations, more than half of which were established locally, to finance 690 projects in Saint-Martin, or 39% of the total donation from the French.
