The good news of the day: the water towers are suspended!

0

SAUR Saint-Martin announces in a press release that phase 1 of the renovation work on the drinking water production unit (UPEP) planned by the EEASM has been completed since Friday, June 4.

As a result, the production capacity of the Galisbay plant has been increased, making it possible, for example, to cope with the exceptional breakage of this weekend under controlled conditions.

Priority is now given to rebuilding water stocks as the hurricane season begins.

In this sense, SAUR Saint-Martin informs its subscribers of the suspension of water towers with the objectives of:

- reduce the inconvenience caused to subscribers,

- rebuild essential security reserves,

- give the EEASM and the contractor company time to secure phase 2 of the works.

The second phase of the rehabilitation of the plant is currently being planned and will soon be defined between the EEASM and the company carrying out the work.

The schedule will naturally be designed to minimize the inconvenience caused to subscribers.

Saur Saint-Martin would once again like to thank its subscribers for their civility which enabled this first phase to be managed without jeopardizing the entire public service.
