The Collectivity of Saint-Martin started yesterday, a phase of works on a portion of the rue de Spring, located between the intersection of rue de Hollande and the intersection of rue Paul Mingau.
The Collectivity will carry out a first phase of work during the Easter holidays (April 10 to 23, 2017), aiming to demolish the surrounding wall of the Jean-Louis Vanterpool stadium in Marigot to widen the adjoining sidewalk. . The objective of this development is to move back the perimeter wall to widen the sidewalk and make pedestrians safer. This development will be finalized during another phase of work authorized by the community, between Monday July 31 and Thursday August 31, 2017, during the school holidays. The amount of operations entrusted to the ETEC project manager is € 440.
During the Easter holidays, the portion of rue de Spring affected by the work will be closed to automobile traffic (except residents). Traffic diversion will be via rue de Concordia and rue Paul Mingau (see: map attached).
