0

At the initiative of Claude Célestine, professor of Applied Arts and Isabelle Durand, nurse, around twenty students from the ASSP (Accompaniment Care and Personal Services) and 1st BMA (Wood Trades) classes participated actively at the World AIDS Day.

The students presented their various productions on a stand (posters, drawings and thematic T-shirt on HIV), without forgetting the distribution of condoms within the establishment itself. A film on HIV was also shown to the students before the exchanges illustrated by the questions and answers on the theme of AIDS.

“It is urgent and necessary to take up the fundamentals in terms of information and prevention. Messages must be circulated inside and outside the school sphere to reach all young people in all their diversity, regardless of their social background or sexual orientation. Without adequate political will and political commitment, we will not be able to reduce the number of infections, an increase of 24% among young people aged 15 to 24 since 2007, "underlines Florence Thune, CEO of Sidaction. _AF
