The objective of the authorities and infrastructure operators is to provide 100% of the population with a very high speed internet connection: Dauphin Telecom, Orange and THD Tel have chosen to achieve this via FTTH (Fiber to the home) technology. and MSR via FTTLA (Fiber to the last amplifier).

By mutual agreement, the three operators who deploy optical fiber have divided the territory: THD Tel is doing it in Nettle Bay and the Terres Basses; Orange and Dauphin on the rest of the territory. Last Friday, the latter two formalized their deployment program with the State and the Tintamarre company through the signing of an agreement.

To date, Orange has enabled nearly 4 homes to be connected to optical fiber in 500 of these neighborhoods: Quartier d'Orléans, Oyster Pond, Anse Marcel, Cul-de-Sac, Mont-Vernon, Orléans Spring, Hope Estate, Concordia, Concordia Spring and Marigot.

Dauphin Telecom already offers 2 connectable outlets in the park and gardens of Orient Bay, Hope Estate, Grand Case and Bellevue. THD Tel has 174 outlets.

In sectors which are not yet connectable, civil engineering work must be carried out by the company Tintamarre; they must be mainly on the secondary network.

By the end of 2022, Dauphin Telecom will have built 5 connectable sockets, Orange 526 and THD Tel 16.
