HOTLINE: Mary's story

1

Mary contacted us via our new hotline because since January she has been trying to alert about the lack of specific signs at the entrance to French territory on the Cupcoy side.

Since January, it has been trying to get clear information about the date of the restoration of the "welcome to the French side" sign and the installation of a new flag. Mary walks past the damaged panel several times a week and each time she tries to put it back in place but to no avail because there are no more solid ties. According to the people she managed to contact several times, the sign and the flag had to be replaced in June and then at the beginning of July but still nothing. Mary is well aware that there are more urgent problems to manage but she thinks that it is "a good way to welcome tourists" who pass by there and wishes to see this area again become welcoming as in the heyday of the 'Isle. _NB
