Inter-Islands Tournament
The United Stars club organized an “Inter-Islands” tournament last Saturday at the Raoul Ellidge stadium in Sint-Maarten. A competition reserved for categories U 7, U 9 and U 11.
The teams from Saint-Barthélemy, RISC Takers, Saint-Louis Stars and of course United Stars (organizing club) were present at this tournament, bringing together around 150 young budding footballers. Among the U11 teams, each team played four games lasting 15 minutes. Saint-Louis Stars won first place ahead of United Stars. On the U 9 side, Risc Takers won at the expense of the “B” team from Saint-Barth. Finally, among the youngest (U 9), special mention to the young United Stars victorious in their category.
At the end of the tournament, each player was awarded a participation diploma, the 1st and 2nd in each category having received a beautiful cup and medals. The United Stars club would like to thank the president of SMFA, Fabrice Baly, for his participation in the meals of young champions!
