Ten years already! The 2016 edition of the Inter-Entreprises relay in Saint-Martin is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. This friendly event is organized on June 12, with nine stages on the program, starting from the border at Terres-Basses for a judged finish on Galion beach.
Marcéna Jasaron and her colleague, Olivia Peramin presented, last Monday, in the premises of Semsamar, the 10th edition of the Relais Inter-Entreprises. Initiated by CE RFO and CMAS EDF, this sporting event is organized by the Semsamar Works Council, with the support of the Avenir Sportif Club de Saint-Martin. This relay race will be carried out by a team of ten torchbearers, each of the runners covering approximately three kilometers. The Relais Inter-Entreprises is a symbolic, friendly and… sporting event! In terms of regulations, it is reserved for agents and rights holders of companies and groups of companies operating in Saint-Martin. Note that three companies can come together to form a single team. In order to reflect the reality of corporate social life, the presence of at least two women per team is compulsory. One of them will be placed at the starting point of the relay.
Each team will be made up of 17 people:
- 10 torchbearers including a walker
- 3 substitutes
- 1 marshal in car, 2 signalers and 1 team leader
The start of the 10th edition will take place on Sunday, June 12, at 6 a.m. from the Terres-Basses border for a scheduled arrival on Galion beach.
For the record, "Inter-Générations" holds the record for the event in 2 hours and 5 minutes. A piece of advice, practice! _AF
