Covid-19 Solidarity Fund: Two association projects supported by the EDF Group Foundation in Guadeloupe and Saint-Martin

Faced with the effects of the health and social crisis of Covid19, the EDF Group Foundation launched on July 10, 2020, its Solidarity Fund to alleviate weaknesses and promote the revival of activity in France and around the world.

With the support of regional and international patronage, this Fund endowed with one million euros supports 89 projects of associations which participate in the return to school or employment and which encourage a new model of society that is more sustainable and more solidarity. Two associations in our region have seen their project rewarded as part of the call for projects launched by the EDF Foundation.

As such, Christophe Avognon, director of EDF Archipel Guadeloupe, will give the happy winning associations “Sem ta Route” of Saint-Martin and “Rézilyans 971” their check, this Monday February 1 at the head office in Guadeloupe. They will respectively receive an amount of:

- 10 € “Sem ta Route” in support of its actions in favor of the educational success of schoolchildren and students and the integration and autonomy of fragile people far from digital by supporting their learning capacities.

- € 6500 (Rézilyans) to promote the integration of young people and adults far from the system in an eco-place built around autonomy, permaculture and the benevolence of everyone.
