President Daniel Gibbs and his First Vice-President, Valérie Damaseau visited, last Saturday, Mrs. Yvette Fleming-Hodge, 101 years old (Bellevue), Mrs. Yvonne Cocks, 101 years old (Quartier d'Orléans) and Mrs. Véronique Javois (St James), who just celebrated his 99th birthday.
As they have crossed the century, the deans of Saint-Martin are the symbol of the Saint-Martin woman and the memory of our collective history. It is for this reason that the President and his Vice-President wished to award them the Community medal. A gesture loaded with meaning for the President who wanted to salute their exceptional longevity and their journey as mothers and distinguished women; and to honor through them all the mothers of Saint Martin. After having offered them each a bouquet of flowers on behalf of the community of Saint-Martin, the president and his 1st vice-president wished them an excellent celebration.
