A false press release circulating on social networks indicates that students from overseas will be repatriated from March 22, 2020 in order to slow the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
This information is false, no repatriation is planned at this stage. In the event of a health crisis, the fight against the manipulation of information is even more decisive than in a normal situation. The publication, dissemination or reproduction of false information is an offense under French criminal law which can be punished with a fine of 45 euros.
