Environment: The earth has shaken twice in Guadeloupe!

According to the volcanological and seismological observatory of Guadeloupe, a strong earthquake of magnitude 6, felt on Friday at 00:51 a.m., was identified of the tectonic type. The phenomenon affected Martinique at the same time.

Its epicenter was located 64 kilometers northeast of Désirade, 101 kilometers from Pointe-à-Pitre, 130 kilometers from Saint John's in Antigue and 171 kilometers from Roseau, Dominica, at a depth of 18 kilometers.

A aftershock (of magnitude 5) was also felt on Friday, March 26, nearly 8 hours after the first earthquake that woke up many Guadeloupeans and Martinicans during the night.
