Road Safety Day at Sandy-Ground took place as planned on March 24th. More than 70 children and adolescents took part in this event, in strict compliance with health constraints.
Several workshops have been set up: a cycle and pedestrian road track for 6 to 12 years old, a two-wheel moped simulator for 11 to 16 year olds, a course in the fight against drug and alcohol addictions, a theoretical road code training workshop for 8 to 16 year olds, and finally a first aid workshop by the firefighters of Saint-Martin.
If the association Sécurité Routière SXM is at the initiative of this day, many associations have brought their very appreciated support namely, Cobraced, Amicale des Pompiers de Saint-Martin, Sandy-Ground on the Moove, Madtowz Family, Vélo-club and Basket-club de Sandy-Ground. It's a very beautiful day, certainly under a blazing sun, but the 70 children and adolescents were delighted with this day and that is the main thing.
