The land which will host the new Administrative and Judicial City is currently the subject of a series of improvements relating to the launch of the main site.

Following several samples taken as part of the preparation of the archaeological diagnosis, the first mandatory step, the installation of a fence is in progress and will be completed by the installation of three information panels.

The Prefect, Serge Gouteyron visited the field this week with the Secretary General, Mikaël Doré as part of the monitoring of the site led by the APIJ (Public Agency for Real Estate of Justice).

The CITAJ (Cité Administrative et Judiciaire) is financed within the framework of the Recovery Plan in the Northern Islands for a total amount of 38 million euros and includes: the Prefecture; the Local Court; the Border Police; specialized services; OFII (French Office for Immigration and Integration); the customs service;  INRAP (National Institute for Archaeological Research) and DAC (Department of Cultural Affairs); National Education (Vice Rectorate); the Regional Health Agency, the DAAF (Directorate of Food, Agriculture and Forests); the DEAL (Department of the Environment, Planning and Housing); the services of the Directorate of the Sea;  the DIECCTE (Business, Competition, Consumption, Labor and Employment Departments) and the Conservatoire du Littoral.

All the stages of the construction of the CITAJ will be followed and relayed until the finalization of a modern and adapted building, thanks to the financing of the National Recovery Plan, for an increase in the quality of the services provided to the citizens.
