The operation "Football at school" organized by the Football League of Saint-Martin, in partnership with the French Football Federation (FFF) and the National Education was a great success with "our" schoolchildren in Saint-Martin. martinese.
For seven weeks, a football initiation and discovery program was set up by Gilles Petit, technical educator at the SMFA League in several establishments in Saint-Martin. Boys and girls were associated with this operation, the objective of which was also to promote women's football, with, let us remember, the Women's World Cup organized last June in France.
In addition to the practice of football, a cultural project, still linked to the theme of football, was also on the program for the four registered schools, namely, Emile Choisy (Concordia), Marie-Antoinette Richard (Rambaud), Omer Arrondell and Clair Saint- Maximin (Orleans district).
For the record, the Clair Saint-Maximim school has been designated departmental winner. Bravo to her and also to the other establishments!
