On Monday, the Sint Maarten police received several calls, concerning a fight in which a man was allegedly stabbed several times.
The events took place in the Cole Bay area around 21:30 p.m. Arrived on site, the poThe officers and paramedics found a man with two shoulder injuries. The victim was treated on site before being transported to Sint Maarten Medical Center.
The preliminary investigation determined that the alleged perpetrator of the stabbing is in fact the owner of the apartment, in which the victim resides. It was during an altercation that the owner allegedly stabbed his tenant several times.
The perpetrator, who was still at the scene, was arrested by the police and transferred to the Philipsburg police station. He was taken into custody. An investigation is underway. _AF
