National Education: Aid system for the return of National Education personnel to the Northern Islands

0

Like all the inhabitants of the Northern Islands, the personnel of the National Education have been confronted since September 6 with the unprecedented consequences of exceptional and repeated climatic phenomena.

The concern of the ministry and the academy has been to provide help and comfort to their staff, in these particularly difficult circumstances, so that they can face the personal, psychological and social problems they have encountered.

The aim was to pay attention to everyone, both those who continued to reside there and those who felt that a temporary removal from the scene of the disaster seemed more suited to their situation.

Also, in order to allow them to return to Saint-Martin or Saint-Barthélemy, the academy has set up a return assistance system since Wednesday September 27, until Wednesday October 4, 2017 inclusive.

Flights will depart from Pointe-à-Pitre. Staff plane tickets will be fully covered by the academy.

This system will make it possible to ensure a serene return of the staff and to envisage the preparation of the restart of the school activity in the northern islands, according to methods adapted to the overall conditions of operation on site.

To benefit from return assistance, staff must call 0590 47 81 31 (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m. - Wednesday and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) or send an email to inspecteur @ ac-guadeloupe .Fr
