The rector and the vice rector held a press conference on Thursday to take stock of the start of the school year in the academy. Michel Sanz detailed the reception conditions for the islands of Saint-Barth and Saint-Martin, which are different from those that will be put in place in Guadeloupe.
In Saint-Martin, the level 4 protocol will apply for the moment; the start of the school year will also be on Monday 13 September according to two devices. All the pupils of nursery, primary and elementary schools as well as the 6th and 5th year of college will be welcomed in person every day. As for the pupils of the 4th to the terminale, they will be welcomed in person by half gauge, that is to say that they will alternate their present time physically in class with a time of work at home. Students who will not be physically in class will have work to do at home.
Each teaching team in each establishment will set up an organization for each class next week; this organization will be communicated by the establishments directly to the parents.
Wearing a mask will be compulsory as last year for all students from CP to terminale in Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy.
The level of the protocol is decided in consultation with the rectorate, the prefecture, the regional health agency and the community according to the health evolution of the territory. (soualigapost.com)
