0

The success rate for the baccalaureate this year is 84,4% for all series combined in Saint-Martin. Compared to those of 2021 and 2020, the results are down by 3,6 and 12 points. If we compare the success rate of previous tests organized in a similar way (before the health crisis), it is equivalent: in 2016, it was 85,3% and in 2017 86,8%. In 2018 and 2019 – post Irma years – it had been lower (82,3% and 77,6%).

In general series, the success rate has increased significantly since 2020 and has stabilized at around 97%. This year it is 96,9%, in 2020 it was 97,7% and in 2021 98%. It is 3,7 points higher than in 2016 and 5 points higher than in 2017.

In technological series, the success rate follows an opposite trend: this year it is 88,7%, i.e. a rate equivalent to those of 2018 and 2019. On the other hand, it is lower by 2,8 and 7 points compared to those of 2016 and 2017. In 2020, the rate had been 100% and in 2021 95,9%.

The same observation in the professional series: the success rate this year stands at 71,8%, this is one of the lowest rates after that of 2019 (63,4%). In 2016 and 2017, the success rate was 78,7%, in 2018 it had increased by three points. The best results were recorded in 2020 (94,6%). (soualigapost.com)
