After being closed for eight months following the damage caused by hurricanes Irma and Maria, the cinema in St. Maarten is expected to reopen at the end of June 2018.
The Megaplex 7 of the Caribbean Cinemas group will be completely renovated. "Among the new equipment will be, among other things, high-back leather rocking chairs with footrests and armrests with cup holders, four auditoriums with tiered seats, online ticketing, more choice of choices food… ”promises Noelia Alsina, marketing and sales coordinator at Caribbean Cinemas.
The cinema will also be equipped with 100% digital projection equipment, 3D technology and high definition surround sound.
Since May 18, job offers have been posted on the cinema's Facebook page.
