MICRO-TROTTOIR: “What is your program for July 14? »

“We will start the day by going with the family to the parade organized on Rue de la République. I think I must be the only one to really appreciate this ceremony even if my family particularly likes this moment together, we go there on foot leaving a little earlier to stop for breakfast which we eat on the front sea. Usually we continue the day by spending the afternoon at the beach but I think I'm going to take the children to the activities organized by the Collectivity, it's varied and everyone will find something to their liking. We will obviously end with the fireworks of July 14, out of the question to miss it! »   Jeans

“My parents have planned a sea trip and it will be the first time for me. I'm a little scared but I want to try, I just hope it won't move too. We are leaving with several friends and their children. But first, with my brother, we're going to watch the July 14 parade on television because he loves uniforms, he wants to be a soldier when he's older. And I want to be a fighter pilot. This is my dream. Maybe one day I'll fly one of the planes that do tricks during the July 14 ceremony! And can't wait for the fireworks too because I love them and the one here is really very beautiful. »   Camille

“Unfortunately I work a lot of the day so I will miss the parade I usually go to every year with my niece but as soon as I'm done I'll go to the Marigot waterfront to enjoy the activities with her and I would try the 6km race even if it's been a while since I put my sneakers back on to go jogging! After the effort, I will join friends for an aperitif. We'll nibble a little while chatting with a view of the bay until sunset. Then everyone will mingle with the crowd to watch the fireworks. A July 14 is not a July 14 without fireworks! »   Maya
