As wished for years, the management of water (drinking and used) is entrusted to only one company within the framework of a delegation of public service (DSP).
The elected representatives of the COM retained Saur to succeed the Générale des eaux (GDE) which ensured the distribution of drinking water and sanitation as well as the Ucdem which produced drinking water. The contract with Saur will start on December 1 for a period of ten years. The majority elected as well as Jules Charville approved this choice, Bernadette Davis and Louis Mussington abstained during the vote in plenary session.
