Distinction: Robert Garon made Knight of the National Order of Merit!

In order to reward more than 20 years of commitment to the service of Saint-Martin in constancy and discretion, Robert Garon was awarded by the Prefect Serge Gouteyron, the insignia of Chevalier de l'Ordre National du Mérite.

A ceremony which took place last Friday, May 7 in the Prefecture, in order to honor Robert Garon's strong commitment to the service of others and the quality of the values ​​he defends and distils within the Saint-Martin community.

It also acts as a relay for the Bleuet de France association of  the National Office for Veterans and War Victims (ONAC VG); Robert Garon is notably president of the association of Veterans and Victims of War of Saint-Martin since 2002.
