The seasonal flu epidemic in Guyana is just a bad memory, reports the latest epidemiological bulletin from the French Institute for Public Health Surveillance (InVS). “This bi-modal epidemic started at the beginning of March and ended during the 3rd week of July. In total, 11.640 cases of influenza-like illness were estimated over this period, ”says the institute.
