“I was very sad to learn of the death of Rex Allen Laurence, in his 74th year, from a long illness. This passionate and generous farmer, appreciated by all, committed his life in the livestock sector on his native island of Saint-Martin.
Anxious to contribute to the development of the sector, he donated to the Collectivity the land on which the Grand-Case slaughterhouse was built and he was always attentive to the difficulties of this establishment. His role in the farming community has been preponderant and will remain in our memories.
On behalf of the Territorial Council, on behalf of my family and on my own behalf, I would like to offer my sincere condolences to his wife, children and loved ones. We send them all our comfort and our deepest condolences. ”
