For the week of February 1 to 7, there are 68 new cases in the territory of Saint-Martin against 108 the previous week, including 31 permanent residents of Saint-Martin. This currently brings the number of active cases declared in the French part to 184.

The Louis-Constant Fleming hospital is still mobilized for the management of the crisis. As of February 9, 4 confirmed Covid patients are hospitalized in the establishment's medical department.

A slight decrease is noted this week. Despite everything, the virus is still actively circulating in the territory.

The weekly incidence rate is still above the alert threshold despite a rate lower than the previous week at 190/100 000 inhabitants against 302/100 000 inhabitants in week 4.

The weekly positivity rate is down compared to last week and at the threshold of vigilance. It is now 5,0% against 7,8% in week 4 (January 25 to 31).

All these indicators nevertheless confirm that the virus is still circulating actively in the territory. We must therefore maintain a high level of vigilance, knowing that this week the age groups in which the rate is the highest are 45-64 years and over 65 years with a rate of 480/100 000 inhabitants (from January 25 to 31).

As of February 9, no new cluster has been reported over the past 7 days. However, there are still 3 clusters under investigation, 2 concern a health establishment (of moderate criticality with 5 cases), and one in a school environment (of limited criticality with 11 cases). _AF
