The number of new covid-19 infections fell last week in the Dutch part (from Friday to Friday); the authorities registered 181 new cases against 222 the week before. This brings the number of cumulative cases from March 3 to September 797 to 2020. Note that the next day 3 other cases were confirmed again.
As of Saturday, the number of active cases was 239. 11 patients were hospitalized and 228 others were monitored by Collective Prevention Services (CPS) and isolated at their homes.
On the other hand, the number of deaths increased: 8 deaths were deplored between August 27 and September 3, or 2 more than the week before. Another death occurred this weekend. A total of 57 people have died from the partly Dutch covid-19. (soualigapost.com)
