In the presence of the various partners including National Education and the health agency (ARS), the president of the Collectivity Aline Hanson and the prefect Anne Laubies announced the launch of a series of actions and priorities for 2016 in Quartier d'Orléans and Sandy Ground. "The objective of this city contract is to develop the economy through associations, which are forced to professionalize," said the president. These actions must respond quickly to the needs of the population. ” This year, the priorities are turned towards employment.

Associations are therefore invited to participate in a call for projects, detailed on the prefecture site. The different structures will have one month to present their ideas around the themes of the city contract: social cohesion, employment, living environment, environment, etc. "Based on their responses, we will suggest solutions with the different partners," said the prefect. The initiatives of the city contract include the creation of a public service house in Quartier d'Orléans, the opening of an association house and the construction of a fish market in Quartier d'Orléans.
