12:40 p.m. - Update on blocking the national highway
Two roadblocks are still erected on the national road, respectively at
Orleans and Orient Bay area.
The Prefect has been in contact with the organizers since this morning in order to put an end to
this deadlock situation.
She proposed to them to organize a meeting under her presidency, next Tuesday, March 15,
in the presence of the Collective and the "Saint Martin wake up" collective.
Despite this proposal, the organizers did not want to lift the dams, and demand
to be received today.
The Prefect therefore offered them a meeting today at 14:30 p.m., in the presence of an elected official and
of the Director of Cabinet of the President, in order to take stock of their
demands and prepare for next Tuesday's meeting.
