Unemployment rose 0,1% last July in Saint-Martin. The number of job seekers (category A) stands at 4220, reports the Regional Directorate for Enterprises, Competition, Consumption, Labor and Employment (DIECCTE) of Guadeloupe. Note that this number fell by 2,3% over one year. The under 25s, over three months, are hard hit by unemployment, according to statistics: 17,1% increase. Regarding the number of job seekers in categories A, B, C, it stands at 4660: a drop of 1,2% over one month and 2,7% over one year.
